Optifine has just released it's newest version.
Optifine is recently used to boost minecraft performance by disabling some features, such as sky, sun, moon, etc. Well here you go!

For easy mod installation, download MagicLauncher here.
If you have multiple CPU cores in your computer, select Multi-Core in Options--> Video Settings --> Chunk Loading.
If you select Multi-Core, the minecraft world should load even faster (about 3x faster), and for you who only have one CPU core in your computer, choose Smooth. The fps should stabilize pretty nice :D
